Yeah, I was cleaning up the forum a little and wanted to check a few things before I opened back up. It's back online now and should stay that way until I need to do a big update.

Just to let anyone know, I've deleted the 2ko section in full, re-synced the post counts, and all that.

Now onto the main point... If any of you look in the Who Is Online section, you'll know that I've had about 4-6 guests constantly online, and yet the active time is highly off. I don't know if this is a bug or what, but if I do catch a user idling like that with a false reading, I may or may not delete the account with no warning.

I don't think I like the idea of people idling like that, and I may start doing some IP Bans on those people. I don't wish to do it, but it may come to that if I have to. So please keep that in mind. (one of those IP's is a spambot and I've blocked it entirely, IP and via a robots.txt - that's a just in case measure even though I do protect people's email addresses, only administrators can see the emails)

Anyhow, I think that does it for now. Topic will stay as a global for about a week or so.

Guess thats one advantage(?) of not being able to log onto the net for a week or two except when I can borrow time on the 'rents comp; not noticing any downtime.... One the other hand, I don't wish to be deleted for being "idle" either so....

Somewhere along the rules (I think it's there, have to check again), is that if your a donator, your pretty much spared from the delete unless you request it. =P

Nice to know. One the plus side, my new system is on its way (finally) and I should be set up by or about the first weekend of July.... give or take a day.
